For this project I wanted to deal with digital and analog photo processing ways in various ways. My whole life I have been deeply interested in documenting the places I live in through film photography. I made this zine using the film photography I have taken from the current neighborhood I live in, Goss Grove. The photographs were taken on analog film which I then developed myself and then used the scanners at the school to then scan the negatives to use for digital processing through applications like Photoshop, for video editing, and InDesign, for the formatting of the zine.
After printing the zine, I assembled it and then drew on it with paint pens to make of the sixteen zine I made unique to each owner. I wanted to make art that people could take home with them and keep because I find that creates deeper bonds with the actual art pieces.
