About the Artist

Corrina Espinosa is a Denver based artist and curator who received her BFA in sculpture from Metro State University and her MFA in Integrated Art from CU, Boulder. Her studio practice is focused on merging art and science through new media technology. She enjoys working with circuity to create colorful light-up, interactive and kinetic works of art. She is also an avid robot, glitch, video and conceptual art enthusiast and experiments with a variety of digital tools and transmedia. Stylistically her work ranges from dark and humorous to fun and whimsical. She also enjoys poetry and literature and often incorporates it into her work. Corrina is active in the Denver Art Community and has shown her work locally at Denver Art Museum, Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art as well as internationally at venues in Barcelona and Bosnia.  She lives in Arvada with husband and sons, and teaches digital art at CU, Boulder.
