Free Poetry from the Universe
Performance Art. A variety of generative art machines mix up words and phrases, and a claw machine randomly selects them to go into a blender, which whirrs them up onto a sticky sheet of clear paper to produce free poetry from the Universe. Viewers take home a unique poem that was serendipitously made for them. All words and phrases are harvested from science magazines and women's magazines, because that combination makes the best love poems.

A Temporal Paradox
Life-Sized Kinetic Collage. A time machine housed in a curio cabinet, with a high-power, plutonium-alternative cam system, making time travel possible! Unfortunately, the machine is stuck in a temporal paradox— no forward or backward motion, only the smearing hybridization of souls from various eras trapped in an infinite loop. Nevertheless, the machine works its magic— by the time you finish gazing into its windows, you will have traveled through time. Includes a sound piece that plays through the light up hard hats. Viewers can sit and listen while they gaze.
