Step 1: block out the basic shape of your bird by extruding a cube into vertical sections.
Step 2: loop cut your cube bird to create a grid, shape the bird and shade smooth, add an eyeball, mirror it using modifiers!
Step 3: Make your bird a talon, apply skins using shaders and UV editor, join and mirror your talon!
Step 4: Add skins (texture) to your bird using the shader and UV editor!
Step 5: Rig your bird with bones, animate your bird to walk in place, then to pace back and forth!
Optional Troubleshoot: If your rigged bird is not moving right, try weight painting to fix it.
